The navigation for licence-free boats is only allowed on the Sa\u00f4ne, from the Mulati\u00e8re Bridge to Couzon au Mont d\u2019Or flood barrier.\u00a0<\/em>The time estimated on our map was defined with a licence-free boat with strong water flow.\nThe navigation conditions must also be taken into consideration to define the duration of the boat crossing.\u00a0<\/em>The navigation area with our boats required a licence also includes the Rh\u00f4ne.<\/em><\/p>\n

Route 1h:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Departing from Confluence, you will set sail to discover the historical heart of Lyon from the Sa\u00f4ne.\nAlong the Old Town (Le Vieux Lyon), you will be able to admire the Saint Georges and Saint Paul\ndistrict, Saint Jean Cathedral, Fourvi\u00e8re Basilica, the Croix Rousse hill to finally meet \u00ab l\u2019Homme de la Roche \u00bb (the Man of rock) from where you will turn back to Confluence.<\/p>\n

Route in 1h30:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The beginning of the journey is the same as the Route 1 but will continue up to Vaise district, at\nSchuman Bridge.\nDepending on where you turn back, you can make the most of the time you have left to admire the docks and all the modern buildings of the factory La Sucri\u00e8re, before coming back to Confluence.<\/p>\n

Route in 2h:<\/strong><\/p>\n

During this journey, the beginning will be the same as previous ones but heading to Ile Barbe.\nAs you sail around the island you will be able to discover its peaceful atmosphere, its 1600 years old Abbey and its beautiful vegetation.<\/p>\n

Route in 3h:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cross the river from the town to countryside.\nYou will cross all the other places already mentioned and will continue beyond Ile Barbe.\nOnce you leave the town, the wildlife takes its place over again.\nHerons, beavers and some other cormorants enjoy this surprisingly calm area just on the edge of the city!\nSail around Ile Roy, the second island that you will meet before heading back towards Confluence.<\/p>\n

Route in 4h:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This route is perfect if you want to stop for a picnic at one of the docks that our team will suggest to you or to simply cross the whole of our route up to the flood barrier of Couzon au Mont d\u2019Or before heading back to Lyon.<\/p>\n

Route in 8h:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This route will allow you to fully appreciate our entire sailing area. Take your time to enjoy the view, having a picnic or to stop at one of the restaurant accessible by boat.<\/p>\n

Le long du vieux Lyon vous pourrez admirer le quartier St Georges, St Paul, la cath\u00e9drale de Saint Jean, la basilique de Fourvi\u00e8re, la colline de la Croix Rousse et vous ferrez demi tour au niveau de l'homme de la roche pour revenir sur Confluence.\n\nParcours 1h30 : Identique au parcours 1h en prolongeant jusqu'\u00e0 Vaise\u00a0au niveau du\u00a0pont Schuman. Selon l'endroit o\u00f9 vous ferez demi tour, vous pourrez profiter du temps qu'il vous reste pour contempler les docks et les b\u00e2timents modernes\u00a0de la sucri\u00e8re.\n\nParcours 2h : Cette fois-ci vous reprenez le m\u00eame chemin que les parcours pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents en mettant le cap jusqu'\u00e0 l'\u00eele Barbe. En faisant le tour de l'\u00eele vous pourrez contempler le c\u00f4t\u00e9 apaisant de cette \u00eele, son abbaye vieille de 1600 ans et sa verdure chatoyante.\n\nParcours 3h : De la ville \u00e0 la campagne, vous traverserez tous les autres points d\u00e9j\u00e0 cit\u00e9s et continuerez au del\u00e0 de l'\u00eele Barbe. Une fois quitt\u00e9 la ville, la nature sauvage reprend ses droits. H\u00e9rons, castors et autre cormorans profite de ce cadre \u00e9tonnamment calme aux portes de la ville. Faites le tour de l'\u00eele Roy, seconde \u00eele que vous verrez\u00a0et reprenez le cap en direction de Confluence.\n\nParcours 4h : Id\u00e9al pour s'arr\u00eater pic niquer sur un des pontons que nos animateurs vous conseilleront ou pour tout simplement traverser la totalit\u00e9 de notre parcours jusqu'\u00e0 l'\u00e9cluse de Couzon au mont d'or avant de revenir sur Lyon.\n\nParcours journ\u00e9e 8h : Prenez votre temps, pic niquez ou arr\u00eatez vous dans un des restaurants accessibles en bateau.
